The crest has the fleur-de-lis as a symbol of St Joseph and the Norbertine Order, the Southern Cross showing that the community is situated in Australia and under the cross of Christ.  The yellow chevron is part of the coat of arms of Tongerlo Abbey, the "grandmother"community of Queens Park.  The two shamrocks remind us of the links to Kilnacrott Abbey in Ireland.  The black swan is a symbol of Western Australia, and the ochre coloured background, the earth tones of Australia.

Our motto is "in medio ecclesiae" - in the midst of the church.
This is the beginning of the entrance antiphon of the Solemnity of Our Holy Father Augustine.

"It challenges us to continue promoting our internal apostolate so that our Priory should be the school and daily training ground to actualise the communion of the Church both in the community and without.  Thus we can be truly in the midst of the Church as we offer an authentic means of personal sanctification to others through providing a centre of liturgical worship, sacramental ministry, apostolic service and hospitality"
